Ellis and Lynita Miller moved to Bangladesh in 2006. A year later, they opened CodeCrafters International Ltd. The company is headquartered in the bustling capital city of Dhaka. CodeCrafters partners with international clients to create business software, specializing in financial analysis systems.
The Management Team
Ellis Miller grew up on the plains of Kansas in the heart of America's wheat country. He loves traveling, discovering places, and trying out new ethnic foods. Having programmed C++ for over 20 years, Ellis is passionate about beautiful code and loves training and mentoring. He is convinced that he has one of the best jobs in the world. His hobbies include cycling, making multi-lingual puns, and spending time with his family.
Joel Iwashige grew up in the intersection of Japanese, American, and Amish cultures. He followed an A.A. in computer science with a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Sterling College, and earned the Chartered Financial AnalystŪ designation in 2010. He enjoys reading anything from history, theology, and human cognition to science fiction and beyond; before he had access to a computer, books from a local lending library ignited his vision for programming. He finds delight in family and friends, good coffee, strategy board games, new languages, and others' growth.
Tariqul Hasan grew up in Meherpur, the smallest district and the first capital of independent Bangladesh. In his eleven-plus years of career in IT & software, he had exposure to both centralized and distributed computing, and developed his interest in programming and relational database modeling. He loves science-fiction and reading about astronomy and cosmology.
The Software Development Team
Enamul Haque is from the capital city, Dhaka. He graduated from BUET with a B.Sc. in Industrial and Production Engineering in 2015. He is very curious about how every little (or not) thing works in this world. Enamul also enjoys photography, calligraphy and solving puzzles. He is always there to cheer for and support Bangladesh cricket team.
Jisan Mahmud was born in Bogra, called the capital of North Bengal, famous for delicious curd. Though by education he is an Electrical Engineer from IUT, by heart and soul he is a programmer. He enjoys playing badminton and has a deep connection with flute.
Mark Anupom Mollick completed his B.Sc. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from BUET and his MBA from IBA, Dhaka University. He enjoys learning new things and has a vision to become an entrepreneur, thus helping to build a better world. He loves reading novels or watching movies while enjoying a bar of chocolate.
Md Mushfiqur Rahman was born in Chittagong, the port city of Bangladesh. He has completed his M.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from Dhaka University. He also has interest in literature and theater, enjoys watching cricket and football on TV, and loves to hang out with family and friends in his free time.
Mizanur Rahman completed his B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from BUET and his MBA from Dhaka University's Institute of Business Administration. Mizanur was born in Khulna. He enjoys watching football, cricket and basketball and also like to hang out with friends in leisure times.
Mohammad Mahmudul Hasan was born in Shatkhira and grew up in the capital city of Dhaka. He completed his B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from BUET in 2009 and has worked in the software industry in Bangladesh since then. He likes to solve analytical problems. Besides programming he loves playing computer games, watching sports and geographic channels on TV, exploring new places, and spending time with friends and family.
Murshid-Bin-Rahman comes from Jessore, the city of Nakshi Katha and the Benapole land port. He has a B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering and and an MBA from IBA, Dhaka University. Playing table-tennis and cricket takes a lot of his leisure time. Murshid enjoys traveling with family and friends and has visited a numerous places throughout Bangladesh & West Bengal.
Nahian Khondoker spent most of his growing up years in Kuwait. After returning to Bangladesh, he completed his studies in Computer Science. An avid HTML coder, he loves working around IE browser bugs and utilizing the nth-child CSS selector. He enjoys a good game of football and lazy evenings of hanging out with friends and watching movies.
Rahmot-E-Elahi comes from Kushtia, home of the Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. After graduating from Bangalore University in India with a degree in Computer Science, he has worked in both the IT and telecom industries. He enjoys traveling and exploring historical and famous places, watching science fiction and action movies, spending time with family and friends, and following the latest technology products.
Sagar was born in Dhaka, but his village is in the green forests of Gazipur. He completed his BSc. in Information Technology from the Institute of Information Technology in Jahangirnagar University. Currently he is completing his MSc. from the same university. He has an interest in the latest technology and in travel. In leisure/free time Sagar enjoys reading Bengali literature, listening to music and playing guitar.
Saifur Rahman completed his B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from BUET. Born in Mymensingh, his interest in programming and technologies grew in his studies. He has a passion for motorcycling. He also enjoys playing basketball, traveling to interesting places with family and friends, and reading novels and watching movies in his free time.
The Support Team
Md. Jahid Hossain works in accounting and keeps the office running smoothly in Dhaka. Jahid comes from Barisal in southern Bangladesh. He completed his graduation in Hospitality Management from Cyprus in 2012 before returning to Bangladesh. He enjoys traveling, watching science fiction and action movies, listening to music, singing, and spending time with family and friends. An avid sports player, he enjoys cricket, badminton, and billiard.
Jobeda Apa keeps us fed with her fantastic Bengali and American snacks and her great Bengali lunches. Whether it’s Moglai parata, lemon chili alu chops, fresh-baked homemade bread, or shortcake with orange frosting, her morning snacks start the day off right.
Kokila Apa cheerfully keeps the office clean and all of us supplied with tea and coffee. Her sweet iced tea is some of the best in Bangladesh. Kokila Apa comes from Patuakhali in the southern part of Bangladesh.
